Before and After : From Closet to Home Office
One of the first things I learned, when I made the the move to LA, 4 years ago, was that the possibilities were endless but space, the space in my apartment, was pretty limited... If you are new to my blog, you may not know that I originally started blogging to document all of my small space living projects and solutions. Making the most of the space in a studio apartment takes some creative thinking, which is why when presented the with the opportunity to work from home, I had to figure out where exactly I was going to an office.
Since my apartment came with 2 closets, one large step in closet and 1 open closet that was kind of awkwardly placed, I decided to scrap the second closet and turn it into my new workspace! With a little paint, Gentleman’s Gray by Benjamin Moore, a shelf , a desk and a chair and it was instantly transformed ! Well I did have to take down closet bar and measure the space to make sure the desk would fit, and use a drill to put up the shelf, but you get what I mean lol. Let’s just say small changes can transform any space from old to new !
